Reports to:         Country Representative-Kenya Somalia
Location:            Nairobi, Kenya, with frequent travel to programme locations across Kenya and Somalia

Supervises: Senior Programme Officers, Area Coordinators, Technical Advisors, and other programme personnel as assigned.

The LWF- World Service Kenya-Somalia Programme is part of The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) World Service which is a humanitarian and development actor working in over 20 countries. The Kenya-Somalia Country Program implements humanitarian, development, resilience, protection, education, livelihoods, climate adaptation, peacebuilding, and community empowerment initiatives in Kenya and Somalia in partnership with governments, UN agencies, donors, civil society organizations, and local communities.

The Country Programme is seeking an outstanding and highly experienced professional to fill the position of Programme Manager.

 The Position

Reporting directly to the Country Representative, the Program Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for the entire programme portfolio across Kenya and Somalia. As a member of the Country Management Team, the Programme Manager is responsible for programme strategy, quality assurance, resource mobilization, partnerships, programme growth, performance management, and organizational learning.

The position ensures that all interventions are relevant, impactful, accountable, donor compliant, and aligned with LWF's global and country strategies. The Programme Manager serves as the principal advisor to the Country Representative on all programme-related matters and leads a diverse, multi-sector team operating in both humanitarian and development contexts in the two countries
